The 5th generation of Pokemon takes us to Unova, a large region filled with huge cities, deserts, and forests to explore. You start off the game just like any other and choose from one of three Pokemon. Now unlike past games you have two rivals in the beginning who each take one of the other two starter Pokemon. These two rivals become traveling companions and occasionally set up for some awesome battles. Your hero must then travel around Unova collecting all 8 badges in order to entire the Unova League, just like all past Pokemon games. Along the way you will encounter an evil organization known as Team Plasma. Every Pokemon game has had there fair share of evil organizations but this one is...different. Usually the bad guys are trying to capture and steal Pokemon for use to control the world or change how the world works.

Full House Poker Review

Full House Poker Logo

Avatar Poker, Texas Hold-Em Style.

Poker has had its fair share of virtual renditions over the years. Most turning out to be more boring then fun. Some games take the more realistic approach, while others are as basic as cards and chips. Full House Poker takes the middle ground using the Xbox 360 Avatars and created a quick poker experience with some humor and appeal.

Texas Hold 'Em is the type of poker you will be playing in Full House Poker. Being a relatively fast type of poker lends itself well to the gameplay. The user doesn't have too long if he folds early. The game gives you the ability to fast forward if you fold. While playing the single player, you earn experience points for almost everything you do on the table.

Beyond Good and Evil HD Review

Beyond Good and Evil Logo

Ubisoft and Michel Ancel's Beyond Good and Evil is back and getting a second chance at life in HD.

In the lush and vibrant planet Hillys things aren't quite what they seem. The normally peaceful planet is being attacked by the DomZ and the only military force around, the Alpha Sections, doesn't seem to be helping much. Enter our hero, a twenty-something female appropriately named Jade. As a photographer her main weapon throughout this action adventure is her camera as she works with the IRIS Network to uncover the truth about what's really going on. It's been described as the right game that came out at the wrong time, but even by today's standards it's still a little out of it's league.

Beyond Good & Evil

As a whole Beyond Good and Evil HD has little to complain about. Overall the controls aren't exceedingly difficult to learn, but like every other game they just take some getting used to. That said, for those who have played the original Xbox version, the controls have changed substantially. The only aspects that haven't noticeably changed in terms of maneuvers are the basic Jade and  hovercraft/Beluga movement controls. Ubisoft elected to switch the A and X action and defense buttons, the camera now uses the LB and RB which was a good choice on the redesigned controller, but the zoom and pan has been switched from the right joystick to zoom on the left stick and pan on the right stick.

Marvel Vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds Review

Marvel Vs Capcom 3 Logo

Capcom's Popular Marvel Vs Capcom franchise returns!

It only took ten years, but Marvel Vs Capcom 3 finally arrived last month. With a massive overhaul in the character line-ups and a new simplified three-button control system things won't be quite how you remember them, but no matter what your skill level is you can find something suited to your individual play style.

Marvel Vs Capcom 3

Arcade and versus modes haven't changed significantly, but the little changes have made a big difference. There are the usual difficulties available but in addition to that you can choose simple or normal control settings. Now, instead of having to memorize a host of moves it is possible to select simple and still stand a chance at winning, even when button mashing. Note that this isn't ideal, as the player does lose out on some of the moves available in normal mode, and it's a lot easier to waste the hyper combos in this mode.

Radiant Historia Review

RI Logo

For a system loaded with top notch RPG's, it isn't easy to stand out to the masses. Tons of fresh RPG's get pushed to the wayside and are never heard from again. However, Atlus, the creators of the Shin Megami Tensei games, decided to take a shot and created Radiant Historia. This game, inspired by the 16 bit RPGs of days past, is their secret weapon; one that may have put Atlus at the top.

Radiant Historia

The game puts you in the shoes of Stocke, a young man who works with the nation of Alistel as their main intelligence agent. Due to his high level of skill, he is the agent often dispatched on the most dangerous missions. Initially, the player is tasked with various missions to complete, and must go out into the world and solve them. Soon after this first venture, he is faced with an impossible task and is heavily injured. He then discovers himself in Historia, a magical place where two young children grant him the ability to travel through time and space. At this point in the game, Stocke is then asked whether he wishes to remain an intelligence agent, or join his old friends' platoon.
